Welcome to Wishence. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Wishence platform, website, app, and gifting services (“Services”). By using Wishence, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Wishence
Wishence is a UK-based gifting concierge service that automates event reminders, curates gift options, and arranges delivery on your behalf.

2. Eligibility
You must:
· Be at least 18 years old
· Provide accurate personal information
· Be legally able to enter into a binding contract
Wishence reserves the right to refuse service where necessary.
3. Account Registration
When creating an account, you agree to:
· Provide accurate and complete information
· Safeguard your login credentials
· Update your details as needed
· You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Personal Data & Event Information
By using our platform, you provide:
· Names
· Dates of birth
· Personal events and dates
· Delivery addresses
· Identity verification documents (if required)
This data is handled under our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.
5. Using Wishence
Wishence enables you to:
· Store important events
· Automate gift planning
· Select gift tiers (Basic, Premium, Luxury)
· Approve purchases
· Arrange delivery
Wishence may send reminders, suggestions, and notifications based on the information you provide.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices are in GBP (£).
You authorise Wishence to process payments using:
· Debit/credit card
· Approved payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
Wishence will not store full payment card details.
Prices may change at any time; however, confirmed orders will not be altered.
7. Order Confirmation
An order is confirmed when:
· Payment is received
· You receive an email/order confirmation
· Wishence begins fulfilment
· Once fulfilment begins, changes may not be possible.
8. Delivery Terms
Wishence partners with trusted couriers to deliver gifts.
Delivery times depend on:
· Availability of stock
· Courier performance
· Destination address
We do not guarantee delivery at a specific time unless explicitly stated.
9. Missed Delivery Conditions
If a delivery attempt fails due to:
· Incorrect address provided
· Recipient not available
· Recipient refusing delivery
· Unsafe delivery conditions
· Multiple failed courier attempts
Wishence will follow this process:
9.1 First Attempt
Courier attempts delivery to the recipient.
9.2 If Delivery Is Missed
The courier may:
· Attempt redelivery
· Leave a card
· Send a notification
· Return the parcel to the depot
9.3 Re-delivery or Re-routing
If a delivery cannot be completed after 2 courier attempts:
Wishence will contact the account owner or account admin
You may choose to have the parcel:
· Re-delivered to the recipient
· Re-delivered to the account owner
· Re-delivered to the account admin
9.4 Convenience Fee
A convenience fee may be charged to cover:
· Additional courier costs
· Handling fees
· Storage costs
· Repackaging where required
Convenience fees vary depending on courier charges and will be displayed before re-delivery is processed.
Wishence is not responsible for delays caused by recipient unavailability or incorrect addresses.
10. Returns & Refund Policy
10.1 General Policy
Due to the nature of curated gifting, personalised items, many items may not be eligible for return under UK law.
However, Wishence will accept returns when:
· An item is damaged
· An incorrect item is sent
· The product does not match the description
10.2 Return Conditions
Returned items must be:
· Unopened
· Unused
· In original packaging
· Reported within 48 hours of delivery
Wishence may require photo evidence.
10.3 Non-returnable Items
· Personalised items
· Food items (including chocolates)
· Artificial floral arrangements that have been opened
· Seasonal or limited-edition products
· Gift boxes containing mixed items
10.4 Convenience Fee for Returns
If a return requires:
· Collection
· Re-routing
· Additional courier handling
· Re-delivery to the account owner or admin
· Wishence may apply a convenience fee, communicated before processing.
10.5 Refunds
Refunds (if approved):
· Are issued to the original payment method
· May take up to 10 working days
· Exclude convenience fees and used/damaged items
11. Cancellations
11.1 Before Order Fulfilment
You may cancel an order before fulfilment begins.
11.2 After Fulfilment Begins
Cancellations are not guaranteed, as gift boxes may already be:
· Packed
· Dispatched
· Produced to order
· In these cases, standard returns policy applies.
12. Event Reminders
Wishence stores key dates to send:
· Reminders
· Suggestions
· Automated planned gift orders (if enabled)
· You are responsible for ensuring dates are accurate and up to date.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on Wishence’s website/app (branding, images, designs, text) is owned by Wishence and protected by UK copyright law.
You may not copy, modify, or use Wishence materials without permission.
14. Limitation of Liability
Wishence is not liable for:
· Delayed or missed deliveries caused by courier services
· Incorrect addresses provided by users
· Misuse or unauthorised access to your account
· Events outside our control such as strikes, weather, customs delays
· Our liability is limited to the value of the order.
15. Termination
Wishence may suspend or terminate accounts for:
· Fraud
· Breach of Terms
· Abuse or misuse of the platform
· Illegal activities
You may delete your account at any time.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically.
Significant changes will be communicated via email or platform notifications.
